Over the past two years we’ve witnessed the creation of many games that have scared us to no end. The most notable of these incredible scary games would have to be PT, which has been hailed as one of the scariest games ever made. Even thought the game was created as a Playable Teaser for the upcoming Silent Hills(thus the name P.T.), it instilled fear in all who played it! Sadly P.T. was cancelled pretty early in development, so the Playable Teaser was the closest we were ever going to get to a new Silent Hill; or so we thought. Allison Road, an Indie title, was announced soon after and received by gamers as a spiritual successor to P.T. To make matters worse, Allison Road took after P.T. in more ways that just gameplay since it was cancelled; or so we thought.
In a recent interview with IGN.com, the games creator stated “I’m actually really happy to be able to announce that [Allison Road] will continue”. Current reports are stating that the game will not reappear on Kickstarter, but with be self funded.
“Actually I’m working freelance jobs to earn money to finance development,” he said. “Thankfully everyone who helped me up to this point was very supportive along the way and kept things affordable for me. And I’m very grateful for that!”
With that being said, don’t expect the game anytime soon. We will bring you updates as they become available, until then make sure to check out the gameplay trailer that created all of the hype for the game back in 2015:
