“If you’ve been waiting for news about BG&E … Well here you go! We are delighted to confirm that Michel Ancel is currently working with the Ubisoft Montpellier studio on a new Beyond Good & Evil game.”

If you follow Beyond Good & Evil’s Facebook page you will see that the sequel to 2003’s cult classic is in development. After teasing the development through Michel Ancel’s Instagram showing images of characters that represented the Beyond universe, Ubisoft Montpellier will be the studio working on the game.

After being shown back in 2008, not much else was shown until just recently. Many were unaware whether BG&E 2 was even in development for the longest time. Yves Guillemot did claim that Michel Ancel was working on a title with Ubisoft, and an independent title; the Ubisoft wasn’t named, but Ancel’s independent title Wild was already know.
