In a recent Tweet by Hideaki Itsuno, director of the Devil May Cry series as well Dragon’s Dogma, stated that he will be announcing a new game this year.

While we aren’t sure whether this means a new series, or a sequel to DMC or Dragon’s Dogma, the DMC series did just celebrate its 15th anniversary. With the last game in the series, DmC: Devil May Cry, releasing January 15th, 2013, we hope to hear something soon.
