Marcus, Dom, and the rest of the COGs are ready to fight the Locust yet again as Gears of War: Ultimate Edition has officially gone gold as of today.

Launching August 25, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is a remastered version of the 2006 Xbox 360 hit Gears of War, which was both a critical and commercial success. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is now available for both pre-order and pre-download.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be available in two different forms; Standard Edition ($39.99) and Deluxe Edition ($59.99). Each version features unique items including various character and weapon skins, as well as two multiplayer characters (available only with the Deluxe Edition).
