The popular Witcher 3: Wild Hunt card game Gwent is getting a PS4 beta.

Originally set as a card game in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt universe, Gwent is finally getting its well deserved spin-off. For those wanting to try the game for themselves, you’re in luck as PS4 users will have a chance to try Gwent during it’s open beta period. Starting March 31st (10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST) through April 2nd (11pm PT), players will have the chance to create decks, run through the game’s tutorial, and play online against others.

According to CD Projekt Red, the purpose of the beta is to assess server capacity. In prior beta runs on the Xbox One and PC, CD Projekt Red wanted players to “kill the game’s servers”. With that being said, a PS Plus subscription is not required to join the open beta.
