With the release of No Man’s Sky right around the corner, Hello Games has presented some rather pleasant news for gamers.

For those playing on the Playstation 4, while you will be required to be online to play there is no need to have Playstation Plus. This will be the first non-free to play title to forego the need for a PS Plus subscription. While this seems like great news, it can be viewed as expected if there is any truth to the games size.

According to Sean Murry, Co-Founder of Hello Games, the No Man’s Sky is so expansive it would take 5 billion years to explore everything. With that being said, it would be expected that players might not even see anyone in the game’s vast universe. With an estimated 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets to explore, you’ll have your hands full.

Get ready to explore the world when No Man’s Sky is released August 9th on Playstation 4, and PC.
