Starting today on the Wii U Virtual Store, gamers will be able to purchase N64 classic Pokemon Snap.
Pokemon Snap was originally released March 1999 for the N64, and stepped away from the traditional Pokemon formula. Snap had players travel in the Pokemon world, this time taking pictures of the Pokemon in their native habitats. These pictures are sent back to Professor Oak, who then rates the pictures based on the number of Pokemon in the picture as well as their size.
If you purchased the Wii Virtual store version, you won’t have to pay again, as you’ll already be able to play the title on the Wii U. The Wii U version of the title will support the use of the Gamepad and Pro controller. Pokemon Snap will run for $10.
