Nintendo’s colorful paint based shooter Splatoon 2 launches in July, and will be the first Switch game to offer voice chat in multiplayer. The Splatoon 2-themed headset, which will launch alongside Splatoon 2, has been showcased and it is a bit strange in design.

Revealed on the Japanese Splatoon Twitter page, the headset connects to both the Nintendo Switch console and smartphone for communication. The headset comes with a splitter with cables that are said to be less than 20 inches long. This brings into question how you’ll be able to play in console mode.
