According to Titanfall’s Twitter, the second game in the series will not require a season pass. Instead, all of the new maps and game modes will be free to download.
Respawn Entertainment had this to say about the tweet:
“No Season Pass required… This means no splitting up the community and it all starts with the legendary Angel City map, remastered from the original Titanfall. This means once you’ve purchased Titanfall 2, your investment includes a full single player campaign, the full multiplayer maps and modes, and long-term support with no hidden costs. You can pre-order the game to play three days early, but it will never cost you extra.”
We here enjoy this move as many gaming communities tend to get destroyed with dlc maps that not everyone wants to buy. Personally, this move will help improve the longevity of the multiplayer for Titanfall 2 substantially. What are your thoughts on this move? Let us know what you think, and remember to check out Titanfall 2 when it releases tomorrow.
