While it’s been almost 13 years since Beyond Good and Evil was released, Ubisoft may have finally gone forward with a second installment to the series.

Michael Ancel, creator of the first title in the series, posted this image to Instagram this morning with the comment:

“Somewhere in system 4 … – Thanks #ubisoft for making this possible !”

Is that a little Pey’j I see?

While the Beyond name has yet to be linked to the image, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has stated that Ancel is working on “two things. He has one game that he is doing as an independent and he’s also working on a game with Ubisoft”. Ancel’s independent title in question is the upcoming PS4 exclusive Wild, while the Ubisoft title has yet to be revealed.

Based on this image, will we see a Prequel to the first Beyond game? Will this image even be a Beyond Good and Evil game? There are many questions surrounding the image, but for now there is at least hope.
