While there are many zombie games on the market, very few of them seem to capitalize on the most important feature of them; being scary. Though they are brain dead targets that are relatively easy to kill, they are still the walking corpses that want to feast on flesh (and braaaaaaiiiiiinnssss). Invader Studios looks to bring nightmares to players in their upcoming zombie game, Daymare: 1998.

Daymare: 1998 looks to bring back the elements that made 90’s style zombies games so scary. Instead of giving the player the tools to take down the entire zombie army, players are given only a small amount of ammo. With the amount of enemies that are said to be in the game you’ll be counting your bullets, deciding whether or not to take down the foe; and that’s if you can even take down all the zombies with the few bullets that you have. Add in limited save points, and expect a tense experience making you fear what’s around the next corner.

While the game is still in development, we can’t wait to see more of it. As of right now, the game is only scheduled for PC.
