PC gamers eagerly anticipating the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain received two great pieces of news throughout the day. First, Metal Gear Solid V’s release date on PC has been moved up to match the release of the console versions on September 1st. Those also left wondering whether or not their PC rig can handle Metal Gear Solid V also got major news today.

Metal Gear Solid community manager Robert Peeler posted the system requirements, both minimum and recommended, on the Steam forums just a few hours ago. The most important pieces of information to take away include the need for an i5-processor, as well as a DirectX-11 compatible GPU. Metal Gear Solid V will also require 28GB of free hard drive space.
