Looking to pick up Quantum Break, but not interested in getting the Windows 10 upgrade? There is some good news for you then, because Quantum Break will be available for purchase of Steam September 14TH. Along with the game having a price cut to only $39.99, there will be a retail collector’s edition.

Being that Quantum Break was originally only planned for the Xbox One, and the Windows Store this is a plus to gamers who didn’t upgrade to Windows 10. The game will still require Windows 7 (64-bit), but that is becoming the norm for most PC based gaming now. With the free upgrade to Windows 10 ending only a few weeks back, the question is whether more of the games on the Windows Store follow suit like Gears of Ware: Ultimate Edition; this is obviously wishful thinking, but still one could hope.

Though Quantum Break originally had a less than stellar launch on the PC with more than a few bugs, it has been patched up quite a bit. With the price drop, and the numerous add-ons, gamers should consider the pick-up if you haven’t already.
