Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night fans will have to wait even longer to get their hands on the game.

The highly anticipated Castlevania like type, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, has been delayed until 2019; and cancelled for the Vita altogether. According to the game’s director, there is some more work needed to be done before it is officially released.

Koji Igarashi, the game’s director, stated on the Kickstarter:

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment, but rest assured we are working harder than ever to deliver the game we all made happen together, please bear with us for a little longer and I thank you for your continued support,”

For backers of the game on the Vita, you can either request a refund or choose another version; so you still have the ability to grab the game.
