Now that we have the Resident Evil 2 Remake, maybe Capcom will deliver on a Dino Crisis remake?

We will never complain about a remake of Capcom’s hit games from the 90’s as almost all of them were wonderful! The problem is that Capcom has been avoiding bringing Dino Crisis back for unknown reasons; ok we understand that Dino Crisis 3 was trash, but we forgive that! Considering how successful the RE2 Remake was, we’d love to get scared by hordes of dinos soon!

For those unaware, Dino Crisis was a survival horror game released by Capcom in July 1999 that replaced zombies with dinosaurs. If you’ve never played the game, this may sound like a spotty adjustment, and you would be incredibly wrong. Dino Crisis offered a different kind of scary as enemies were much faster than their undead counterparts, and often out-sized you by quite a bit. With a variety of different dinosaurs present, you couldn’t plan for what would be in the next room because the options were endless.

Being produced by Team Arklay, a rather small team consisting of 5 people, it doesnt seem likely that a full-fledged project will come about as it still seems to be in its development phase; and DMCA will most likely halt progress. What we would love to see is at least a demo of the game thus far to satisfy our need for Dino Crisis,. Then hopefly Capcom does like the RE2 Remake, and bring the creators on board for an official project!
