While this is sad news, it’s not as bad as it sounds.

Your wait for the highly anticipated Elden Ring has been extended, but luckily for a short time, as it will now release February 25, 2022. According to the press release from Bandai Namco:

The depth of the game and the degree of freedom in strategy exceeded the initial expectations, hence it has been decided to extend the development time for final adjustments.

The good news is players can get their hands on Elden Ring even sooner as a closed network test has been announced. The network test will run at various times between November 12-14 on all consoles.
