Final Fantasy XVI will come to other platformers a lot sooner than we were expecting!

Final Fantasy XVI has been at the center of many rumors recently with the most prominent rumor revolving around when the release date will be revealed. One topic that isn’t a rumor is the exclusivity deal regarding the game. With 2020’s Final Fantasy VII Remake releasing on PC after a year, many speculate that XVI would follow the same path. Thanks to a recently release post on Playstation’s Twitter account, it’s not a question of if but rather when!

The video, while brief, gives a look at many upcoming Playstation titles alongside the peripherals on the PS5. If you look at the bottom of the video when Final Fantasy XVI is showing you can see that the title will be exclusive for 6 months. What happens after that is a mystery at the moment, and I wouldn’t expect to hear anything about future plans until some time after launch.
