Kingdom Hearts 3 gets a new trailer, and it’s exactly what we wanted!

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, with this trailer focusing on teamwork. Much like past games in the series, combat will rely heavily on not only Donald and Goofy, but the characters of the worlds you visit; and there’s no shortage to the allies.

What really makes this trailer great is that we get a touch of many of the worlds in the game from Big Hero 6, Toy Story, Frozen, and many more! On top of that, you can see what looks to be some of the summonings in Ariel (The Little Mermaid) and Ralph (Wreck It Ralph).

If you’re new to Kingdom Hearts, this trailer shows the terrible threat we face. The Disney and Pixar worlds are in danger of being swallowed in darkness. Only by uniting together will we stand a chance! Join the Keyblade wielder Sora as he travels across the Disney/Pixar universe and meets familiar faces across familiar places in order to fight against the Heartless and darkness brought forth by Master Xehanort.

At the end of the trailer you are able to see Organization XIII who will play a vital role in the story. First appearing in Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix as an optional boss fight, Organization XIII has been a focal point in the lore and looks to continue. How this will all play out will be seen when Kingdom Hearts III launches January 29th for PS4 and Xbox One.
