We’ve been waiting for it, and we’ve finally gotten some gameplay footage for Pokémon Switch! Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee will allow players to explore the Kanto region (gen 1 Pokémon) with gorgeous visuals. The game will be playable with a single joy con controller, allowing for easy gameplay that borrows some concepts from the 2016 mobile title, Pokémon Go for catching wild creatures! Rest assured, combat seems to stay true to the series norm. New co-op gameplay has been added allowing secondary players to use the other joy con to join in on the fun.

There will be a special controller released that expands the fun in the form of the Poké Ball Plus. Not only will the controller allow you to more easily catch creatures in the game, you can load your Pokémon to the Poké Ball Plus and take them with you! How this will work is still unclear.

If you’ve played a lot of Pokémon Go!, you’ll be at a massive advantage as you can import Pokémon from the mobile title to Pokémon Let’s Go!. With either version you select, both Pikachu and Eevee will be customizable to add to the enjoyment!

We will post more news on the latest Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee when it becomes available. Gamers can expect the first Switch Pokémon game November 16th, 2018!
