Is Project Resistance a remake of the Resident Evil Outbreak series!?

If you’re anything like me, when Capcom announced the remakes of old Resident Evil games I was the happiest person in the world. While I enjoyed seeing the 7th game in the series, the nostalgia of playing the original games in modern world was what I needed. Now that we’ve gotten RE2, which lived up to the hype, Capcom has released a trailer for an upcoming Reisdent Evil game very similar to the Outbreak games.

For those unfamiliar with the Outbreak games, it was an online survival horror title back when online gaming wasn’t fully established. The game was incredibly fun, and will constantly scary the crap out of you, the game didn’t hit the levels of success it should have because again online gaming was still years away from being the juggernaut it is today.

Based on the trailer, 4-player co-op will be the focus with a primary focus on the second game of the series at this point. Are you excited for a possible Outbreak remake?
