Street Fighter 6 Roster Thus Far: All Confirmed and Leaked Characters

Who will be the next challenger?

Street Fighter 6 is coming, and over the past few weeks, we’ve been learning a lot of information about the game. While we’ll go over the gameplay mechanics, modes, and other features in another article, we’re going to focus on the roster here. Since reappearing at the last State of Play event, Capcom has been announcing characters quite frequently with 6 confirmed fighters as of today (6/19/22). Alongside the confirmed fighters, there have been leaks that have seemingly confirmed the remaining roster which runs over 20 characters in total. We’ll go over the confirmed roster first, and then breakdown the leaked roster.

While Capcom has only confirmed a handful of characters thus far, leaks have shown us quite a few characters that could be joining the roster. Regardless of how much detail is found on the characters, leaks are leaks so take them with a grain of salt. The only reason why these leaks are so interesting is that the images seem to be from an upcoming artbook for the game as they showcase, what seems to be, the entire launch roster of Street Fighter 6. In addition to the quality of the artwork for the characters, the leak comes soon after the showcase of new characters. To add to that, the illustrations of the characters are of much higher quality which would indicate that some thought and effort was put into the characters. Again, these are still leaks at the moment, however, we hope to see the confirmed roster soon.

From the images, many of the Street Fighter Alumni return alongside quite a few additions. The names of the characters are found below in the order of the images as the names in the images are all in Japanese.
