Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced a new update coming to TEKKEN™ 7 adding features including Streaming Mode, new customization items, and enhancements to character selection. The new Version 5.10 patch is available now for PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam®. The company also revealed that TEKKEN 7 has sold 10 million units globally, announcing the milestone via a message to fans of the long-running fighting game franchise.
 
Following are patch notes for the Version 5.10 update:
 
Streaming Mode
Streaming Mode is now available in the Game Options. When Streaming Mode is switched on, the online ID/gamertag of the opponent on the VS screen and the battle screen in Ranked Match, Player Match, and Quick Match will change to the character name.
 
New Customization Items and Expanded Character Selection
A range of new customization items are available in the Character Panel Set. On the Character Selection screen, players can now save their favorite character and costume combination and select it with one button. Also added is a feature that remembers the last costume that was selected within each play session. 
 
Modified Tournament Settings
New modifications to Tournament Settings are now available in Game Options. When Tournament Settings are switched on, players will not be able to use the following character selection features in Versus Battles: “Favorite” settings, character costume selection, or last costume saved.
 
Updated Connection Status Info Display
Changes to the connection status info display include addition of information showing the processing load of the PCs used in the match as well as text formatting enhancements.
