Mushroom Kingdom Here We Come!

It’s been just over a month since we first got a glimpse into the Mushroom Kingdom in The Super Mario Movie trailer, and it looks like we’ll get even more today. Nintendo has announced a Nintendo Direct event focused on the upcoming Super Mario Movie, however, they haven’t specified what. Based on the original trailer, I expect a focus on the plot of the movie with screen time for characters that were left out of the first trailer such as Peach, and Luigi most notably; and possibly Donkey Kong.

It’s worth noting that this Direct will focus on the movie, and not details about games will be shown at this showcase.

The Super Mario Movie Nintendo Direct will be live at 2pm PST.

The Super Mario Movie is set to release in theaters on April 7, 2023.
