The 2014 hit horror title Alien Isolation may be getting a follow-up game in the form of Blackout, and it may be announced very soon. Geoff Keighley, a big name when it comes to the award show, has posted cryptic messages in tweets showing a message stating “Worlds Will Change”, in font reminiscent to the Alien films. While this may not be the most reassuring news for a new game, there’s more!

Now the tweets aren’t the only reason many believe the announcement of a new Alien game is coming. It has come to our attention that a trademark has been made for Alien: Blackout as of the 22nd. While many originally believed that the trademark could be for a movie, after reviewing the trademark, it is a class 9, and 41; both of which deal with gaming. With many games being announced at The Game Awards in the past, we are definitely expecting to hear something about a new game during The Game Awards on December 6th.

If you haven’t heard, a new Parasite Eve title may be announced at The Game Awards based on a similar trademark registration by Square Enix. You can read about that here!
