Nintendo Switch Online could add more consoles to their online catalog.

While it’s been a bit since we’ve seen more content added to the Nintendo Switch Online game collection, Nintendo may be releasing two new consoles in the near future. According to the Nate the Hate podcast, both Game Boy and Game Boy Color games will be coming. To further add confirmation to the news, Nintendo Life sources have also confirmed this news. While you may be thinking “this sounds like another rumor, why should we care”, this does fall in line with the datamine from 2019.

For a quick refresher, a datamine of the NES Switch app back in 2019 did give us information on the SNES Switch app before its release. The data more importantly had details on other emulators within the code. With the demand for more classic games, and more importantly the N64, could we be closer to more modern Nintendo consoles on the Switch?
