Get ready to see the future of PS5 next Thursday. With a focus on upcoming games, we expect to see a slew of games.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a Playstation Showcase which will take place next Thursday (September 9 at 1pm PT /4pm ET. The event will be streamed on Playstation.com, YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.

The showcase will run roughly 40 minutes and focus on “games releasing this holiday and beyond”. There will also be a post-show where studios will give even more updates on upcoming titles for the PS5. While there are no confirmed titles, many have speculated God of War, Forbidden West, and various other titles will appear; however, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Sony has confirmed that PSVR will not be appearing at the event as there will be “plenty of great PS5 games from developers large and small”.
